New Website

I have discovered Google Sites. I think it will serve me better for classroom use. So I will be deleting this blog at the end of the month.
The new website can be found at:

Thank you for your understanding!

Welcome Back!

Here you will find all the links you need for 6th Grade. Over to the right are a list of links we will use all year, a LOT.
1. Go Math, here you will find a TON of online resources. Including a digital copy of your book, your PMTs that I assign, and extra math practice.
2. Think Central is where you will find the resources for our reading series. It is also where I will assign your reading tests.
3. Elevate Science goes with our science text. We will do some quizzes and Lab assignments on here.
4. Google Classroom. Use your username and password to access the assignments given on Google Classroom.
5. Study Island is where you can look up standards you didn't pass on the tests and do extra practice to check those off in your leadership binder.
6. Khan Academy is another resource you can use to check off items in your leadership binder (mostly math standards are here).
7. Check Grades Here, this will take you to SIS to check your grades. A very important skill for high school.
8. Elementary home page
9. District home page

Using Go Math! Online

When the entire class has completed a test, you can see what you missed and what the correct answer was. To do this:
1. Log onto Go Math website.
2. Click on the "My Progress Reports" on the left hand side.
3. Change the drop down selection for "Assignment Due" to "All"
4. Click on the test you wish to view. When you click on an individual question it will come up in a new window. When everyone has a test finished you will be able to see the correct answer.
